DAF is a Dutch manufacturer of commercial vehicles and trucks, founded by Hub van Doorne in 1928 as Van Doorne's Aanhangwagenfabriek. It produces a range of medium- and heavy-duty trucks (LF, CF and XF ranges) and is known for fuel-efficient designs and driver-focused cabs. Headquartered in Eindhoven, DAF became part of the U.S. truck maker PACCAR in 1996 and sells vehicles worldwide.
