The Volvo 850 is a mid-size luxury car produced by the Swedish manufacturer Volvo Cars from 1991 to 1997. It was the first front-wheel drive vehicle from Volvo and was available as a sedan or estate. The 850 also featured several safety innovations, including side-impact protection and an integrated child booster seat.
