The Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia is a two-door sports car marketed from 1955 to 1974. It was designed by the Italian car designer Luigi Segre at Carrozzeria Ghia, and built by German coachbuilder Karmann. The Karmann-Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Volkswagen Beetle with styling by Ghia, resulting in a stylish and iconic vehicle that has gained a cult following among car enthusiasts.
