Saturn was an American automobile marque established by General Motors in 1985 and launched as a separate brand to compete with imported compact cars. It became known for its customer-focused retail approach, no-haggle pricing, and early use of a spaceframe with polymer body panels, offering compact and midsize models such as the S-Series, Ion, Vue, Aura, and Sky. Despite a loyal following, Saturn struggled with corporate consolidation and market shifts, and GM discontinued the brand in 2010.
